DeepAlert is a market-leading, dynamic, trusted AI-powered commercial video analytics service provider. We focus on beneficial applications of the technology in the commercial and public space sectors and seek to lead not only in technology but to be a voice in the global conversation advocating the ethical and responsible deployment of AI.

Our founder’s story
DeepAlert did not begin life as a leading AI video analytics provider to the surveillance industry worldwide as it is today.
Inspired by his own experience in community policing in South Africa, where the police force has many challenges and crime is rampant, DeepAlert’s founder Jasper Horrell sought to apply his knowledge and experience in AI and machine learning to the surveillance industry. Jasper has a PhD from the University of Cape Town in Radar Signal Processing and more than a decade of experience at the SKA project where he held senior positions in computing and innovation.
